Color can be used to tie different patterns together. The scarf does a good job of that for the window. You could probably do something similar to make the night stand mesh with the room more, by perhaps overlapping with an orange pattern. You could even use contact paper to put a pattern on the Nivea box since you were considering painting it already.Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04836373510989182172noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6486032586445224143.post-8259024840080381972017-01-21T22:28:54.221-05:002017-01-21T22:28:54.221-05:00Alex, that's sharp!Alex, that's sharp! I liked this solution because I didn't have to sew either!Alex Mhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15562233895276078957noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6486032586445224143.post-55977221387407339762017-01-17T12:48:26.655-05:002017-01-17T12:48:26.655-05:00I like to attach to my window panes rice paper (th...I like to attach to my window panes rice paper (there are various background colors and designs; I prefer the light colored ones as it brightens the room and makes it look bigger.). This decorative paper efficiently keeps the sun rays out, lets the light in, but keeps the interior opaque to the outside. Just ideal.DUTAhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12979375799258978432noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6486032586445224143.post-46269009804607094242017-01-17T08:46:33.195-05:002017-01-17T08:46:33.195-05:00I think it looks great. I use blinds on west facing windows to keep the sun out of our eyes, (which get opened the minute the sun sets) and swags to soften the frames. But, wow, your "non-drapes" are pretty! You have a knack.Meg B.https://www.blogger.com/profile/09871105973774159424noreply@blogger.com
